How long do they take to make?
From the moment we receive your Video Brochure artwork and payment it takes around 15 – 18 working days.
What sizes do they come in?
We have a range of standard sizes – A4, A5, A6, square and business card – with the most popular by far being the A5. However, if your requirement is more ‘out there’ please call us – we can do those too!
What screen sizes are available?
Although our range of screens is short and sweet we are sure to have a size to suit your needs. From the small 2.4 inch to the mid-sized 4.5 and 5 inch through to the larger 7 and 10 inch.
What are the screen specifications?

With screens, what does IPS mean?
The term IPS stands for ‘In-Plane Switching’ and is a technology developed to overcome limitations experienced with standard LCD screens. The main benefits with an IPS screen are a brighter picture with better contrast, stronger colours, deeper blacks plus wider viewing angles, so your colleague watching over your shoulder can enjoy it too!
What's the difference between soft and hard back?
It’s similar to the difference between a paper back and hard back book – the soft back cover on a video brochure is flexible and made from thick card and the hard back cover is rigid and made using a paper over board process.
A hard back cover gives Video Brochures an expensive looking finish making them perfect for marketing high value items and designer brands.
Can I have a sample?
Of course you can! We have a range of different samples we can send you – different sizes and screens. We do make a small charge for this, however we will knock this off the value of your order or refund the charge if the Video Brochure is returned to us in good order.
How much video can they hold?
By default, the amount of pre-installed memory is good for up to 10 minutes of video.
Can I increase the memory?
If you want to play longer – or have multiple – videos then we can install more memory at the point of manufacture. Unfortunately memory cannot be added after the brochures have been made.
What video formats do they support?
Our Video Brochures accept .mp4, .mov and .avi, although we recommend .mp4 as it’s the industry standard and most widely used.
Can I have more than one video?
Yes you can! We can assign individual play buttons to each video or use a play and skip button which may be a neater solution for three or more videos.
In what order will the videos play?
It all depends on the filenames of the videos as they will play in alphanumeric order. Simply adding 01, 02, 03 to the begining of the filenames will make them play in the correct order, eg. 01-xxx.mp4, 02-xxx.mp4, 03-xxx.mp4.
Can I upload the videos myself?
Yes, by connecting the Video Brochure to a computer using the supplied USB cable you can drag and drop the video files onto the brochure. The video will probably need to be prepared for the small screen first as they will struggle to play native HD (1920×1080) or 4K (3840×2160) content. We can process the files for you or give you the settings if you have the means to process them yourself.
How should I supply the videos to you?
You can supply video files in any format you like and send them to us using a large file transfer service – such as WeTransfer – and we’ll process it so it plays perfectly on your choice of screen.
Do Video Brochures show PowerPoint files?
It is possible to show PowerPoint presentations but you will need to convert the file into a video first, which is very easy to do.
How does the video start?
Simply opening the cover will trigger a small magnetic switch inside the brochure and your video will begin playing automatically.
How long does the battery last?
Each Video Brochure can play for up to 80 minutes after the battery is fully charged. However with most videos only lasting 2 minutes or so that’s a lot of views before needing a top-up!
Can you recharge them?
You certainly can! Each Video Brochure has a micro USB port on the side and connecting it to a computer or USB plug, using the supplied USB cable, will start the battery charging. Depending on the size of the battery a recharge can take 2-3 hours.
How are they printed?
Our Video Brochures are printed using offset litho and overlayed with a gloss or matt laminate giving them a beautiful, tactile finish. We can also spice up the print with metallic inks, spot varnishes, em/debossing and foil blocking to give them an even bigger WOW factor!
What buttons can I have?
Pretty much any of the usual buttons you’ll find on media players – play, rewind, skip, etc. At a minimum we suggest play/pause and volume buttons as you can never be sure if your brochures are being watched in a boardroom or a pub!
Can you produce my artwork and video?
If you don’t have access to a graphic designer to help with the artwork we can put you in touch with some amazingly creative people to get the look you’re after.
Similarly, if you’re wanting a video produced we have some extremely talented videographers on speed dial we can send your way.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Our minimum order size is 5 Video Brochures, and of course the more you order the cheaper each one becomes!
Can you mail them out individually for me?
Certainly! If you don’t have the time, manpower or even the inclination, simply send us your mailing list we’ll save you the hassle.
Where can I see prices?
Unfortunately we’re unable to publish a Video Brochure pricelist, and it’s not because we’re being difficult!
With regular changes to the costs of screens and memory, and volatility of the GBP/USD exchange rate, any price lists we publish could be out of date almost immediately! Plus with the range of options and configurations available the price matrix would be a nightmare! Tell us what you want and we’ll give you a tailored quote for your specification.

Do you still offer CDs, DVDs & USB sticks?
