FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order for CDs and DVDs is 50 discs, however we’ve been known to manufacture less when asked nicely!
How quickly can I have my discs?
Smaller numbers of duplicated discs can be turned around in under 4 working days, but larger numbers of replicated (pressed) discs will take around 8 to 9 working days.
Is there a difference between duplication and replication?
There is no difference in the quality between burned (duplicated) and pressed (replicated) discs, only in the way they are manufactured. Duplication is where the content is burned onto blank recordable discs and replication is where the content is ‘pressed’ into the polycarbonate as the discs are made. Duplication is for lower numbers and tight deadlines whereas replication is for larger volumes (500+), and lower prices.
Can I order printed discs that I can burn myself?
Yes, we can. In fact we regularly supply printed recordable CDs and DVDs to ‘experience day’ companies who burn videos and photos to them individually as a memento.
What are my packaging options?
Pretty much whatever you want! Discs can be supplied in bulk (no packaging at all), clear plastic wallets, printed card wallets, lancing packs, jewel cases, DVD boxes, digipacks… Ask us if you’re stuck for ideas, but if you’ve seen something funky like Jakeboxes or maybe Burgopacks let us know and we can organise these too.
Can you do vinyl and cassettes?
With the push for retro in full swing we are able to provide both vinyl and audio cassettes. But due to the manufacturing processes involved, and with a limited supply, the turnaround times are longer than with CD & DVD, so let us know in good time!
